Experience managing multiple live projects, supervising teams, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring full compliance with technical and safety standards is essential. Role OverviewThe Senior M&E Project Manager will lead projects from initial survey through to completion, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery. Projects include commercial units, warehouses, light industrial sites and general contracting environments. There is no residential work. The business considers candidates from M&E contractors, electrical contractors, mechanical contractors or client side estates and facilities teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, design and delivery of mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget
- Produce and maintain project programmes, schedules, resource plans and procurement requirements
- Provide senior leadership to project teams, supporting supervisors, engineers and subcontractors
- Ensure full compliance with safety protocols, technical standards and legal regulations
- Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance and forecast costs to achieve target margins
- Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants and internal teams, ensuring project scope and expectations are met
- Monitor project progress, adjust resources and priorities as required and ensure all work meets quality, technical and compliance standards
- Prepare and deliver senior level progress, commercial and financial reports
- Build strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams to support successful project delivery
- Contribute to wider business planning and operational improvement as part of the senior management team
