Job Description WORKING FOREMAN \n £40,000 – £45,000 + VanFull Time | 7.30am – 5.00pm | Site Based \n Benefits \n • Company van \n • On-site parking \n • PPE and uniform provided \n • 33 days holiday including bank holidays \n • Contributory pension \n • Non-contributory life cover \n • Continued professional development through structured learning programmes \n About the Client \n Our client is a long-established, family-owned construction business with over 150 years of history, delivering high-quality projects across commercial, education, industrial, heritage, blue light and leisure sectors. \n They operate across the Home Counties, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire and North London, delivering schemes through two divisions: Small Works & Frameworks (up to £1m) and Main Contracts (up to £15m). \n This role sits within their Small Works & Frameworks division, delivering projects up to £1m. The Working Foreman coordinates daily site activity, maintains safe and orderly working practices, and works closely with the Small Works & Frameworks Contracts Manager to ensure projects progress to programme, specification and client expectations. \n Key Responsibilities \n • Create and manage the working schedule for the team \n • Place orders for required equipment and materials \n • Engage subcontractors when needed, with management approval \n • Allocate tasks appropriately across the team \n • Ensure work progresses efficiently and to programme \n • Keep management updated on project development \n • Ensure works are completed on or before deadlines \n • Maintain safe systems of work and ensure all operatives follow required standards \n • Ensure projects are completed to the specification and quality required by the client \n Skills & Experience \n • Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols \n • Familiarity with industry ISO standards \n • Confident communicator with clients and stakeholders across various sectors \n • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills \n • Trade background \n Qualifications & Requirements \n • In-date CSCS card supported by a recognised qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND, degree or equivalent) \n • SSSTS \n • First Aid at Work \n • Full UK driving licence \n • Required to wear company-issued uniform and PPE on site \n Security, Vetting & Right to Work \n • Must have full right to work in the UK \n • Must have been continuously resident in the UK for the past 5 years to meet client vetting requirements \n • Must be willing to undertake DBS, BPSS or client-led security checks where required \n • Must be willing to discuss any matters relevant to vetting as part of the process \n • Must be able to maintain the vetting standards required for regulated sites \n Salary & Package £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience Company van \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
