The business is recruiting an experienced and commercially minded Contracts Manager and Estimator to support ongoing growth. This hybrid position combines surveying, estimating, client management and project delivery. It suits an individual who enjoys variety, client interaction, technical problem solving and taking responsibility from initial survey through to completion.
The Contracts Manager and Estimator manages roofing works and wider building façade maintenance and repair projects. The role oversees enquiries through to completion, ensuring strong customer service, commercial performance, quality and safety.
- Conducting roof surveys, inspections and condition assessments
- Leading project planning and mobilisation activities
- Managing subcontractors and delivery teams
- Monitoring project performance, quality, programme and costs
- Producing survey reports, progress updates and completion documentation
- Identifying opportunities for additional works and long-term maintenance solutions
- Supporting business growth through service quality and client retention

- Background in roofing, construction, maintenance or building fabric projects
- Experience estimating and pricing works
- Strong understanding of roofing systems and repair methodologies
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience managing roofing contracts or projects
- Knowledge of flat roofing, pitched roofing and building fabric repairs
- Health and Safety qualifications such as SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Knowledge of project management systems and reporting tools
