The Role:

You will support the pre‑construction team by preparing accurate tenders across a range of envelope and structural packages. Working closely with the Senior Estimator and wider team, you will help ensure bids are commercially competitive and technically compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates for SFS, cladding, steelwork, curtain walling, windows and façade packages
  • Review drawings, specifications and tender documents
  • Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Produce BOQs, take‑offs and cost breakdowns
  • Support value engineering proposals
  • Work with the estimating team to meet tender deadlines
  • Assist with handover to project delivery teams
  • Maintain accurate tender and pricing records

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
  • Confident communicator with suppliers and internal teams
  • Able to work independently from home while remaining part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience in façade, cladding, SFS, steel, windows or curtain walling
  • Experience pricing packages between £200k–£3m
  • Exposure to commercial, industrial or mixed‑use schemes
  • CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with estimating software or digital take‑off tools
