Role Summary

The Quantity Surveyor will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account.   • Cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain
  • Preparation and agreement of valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Commercial reporting and cost and value reconciliation
  • Risk management and change control
  • Close liaison with site teams, consultants and clients
  • Supporting junior members of the commercial team where required
Person Specification
  • Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar construction discipline
  • Healthcare project experience is essential
  • Experience delivering refurbishment and new build projects with a main contractor
