Freelance Quantity Surveyor required for a high-tech processing plant fit-out programme in North Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on role working for a specialist subcontractor delivering internal packages on complex industrial and technical schemes. You will work closely with a commercially minded Director and be based mainly on site, managing day-to-day commercial activity and ensuring accurate records, measurements and cost control.

Scope of Works:

  • Fireboarding
  • Dry lining and ceilings
  • Firestopping
  • Flooring and resin systems
  • Internal and fire-rated doors (plus some external doors)
  • Roller shutters and fire curtains

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take-offs and measurement of materials for ordering
  • Daily worksheets, record keeping and commercial tracking
  • Manage internal fit-out packages from procurement through to final delivery
