A successful and growing flooring subcontractor based in Bedford is seeking a Trainee Accounts Administrator to join its friendly and supportive accounts team. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

The Role

Working within a small accounts and commercial team, you will provide administrative support across the accounts function while learning valuable finance and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and inputting supplier invoices
  • Processing fitter invoices
  • Supporting accounts payable activities
  • Updating spreadsheets and internal trackers
  • Assisting with commercial administration tasks
  • Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
  • Learning company systems and financial procedures
  • Supporting the wider accounts and commercial team

About You

  • No previous experience required
  • Good attention to detail
  • Comfortable with data entry and administrative tasks
  • Organised and reliable
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Looking for a long-term career opportunity with progression

Experience with QuickBooks would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm. A 30-hour working week may also be considered.
