Opportunity for an Assistant Estimator to join a long established, cash rich, award-winning Main Contractor who undertake new build and refurbishment projects. The company works across most sectors including education, health, student accommodation, residential, hotels, industrial and retail. This is an opportune time to join their growing region where there will be plenty of opportunities to progress. They are family run and have great values set by their chairman towards their employees and clients alike.
The Role
They are looking to recruit an Assistant Estimator who wants to progress to an estimator. You will be office based in Bury St Edmunds, with travel across East Anglia, Southeast & Midlands for site visits etc. You will be working for the Group's national clients in the retail and leisure sectors e.g. Tesco, Waitrose, Primark, and Premier Inn. These projects on the retail side are generally store refurbishment/fit outs along with the leisure projects being extensions and conversions for Premier Inn. Most of their works come from frameworks they have with the clients, so a large proportion of works is negotiated so it is important to be able to establish long term relationships with clients/consultants and subcontractors/suppliers.
Qualifications
- 1 year Assistant Estimator experience.
