An exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Renewable Energy client s business as a Senior Service Engineer to provide specialist support to their site service division. The successful Field based Heat Pump Service Engineer will need to hold a full driving license.

As a Heat Pump Service Engineer, you will have hands on responsibility to provide specialist on site knowledge to service and repair Heat Pumps systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, fault finding and repair of Industrial, Commercial & Domestic Heat Pumps

  • Air Source Heat Pump experience (Required)

  • Knowledge of Dimplex Heat Pumps (Advantageous)

  • Heat pump service and maintenance on both multiple domestic sites and larger commercial projects

  • Carry out service and maintenance works associated to systems across entire complex and communal areas

  • To understand, complete and submit all work-related paperwork clearly and on time.

  • Be able to overcome onsite issues, by using your experience and knowledge.

  • Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.

  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

  • To fully participate in regular training and development reviews

  • Attend call outs during the day but also you would have out of hours if and when required, but the majority of the call outs would be during working hours.

  • You will have a 6-month schedule to work towards

  • Experience of Plantroom and Heat Pump Servicing

  • Experience of Fault finding on multiple domestic heating systems

  • Experience of servicing Air Source Heat Pumps (Required)

  • Knowledge of Commercial/Industrial Ground Source Heat Pumps (Desirable)

  • NVQ/C&G qualifications or equivalent in Plumbing & Heating

  • Previous experience of servicing OR commissioning air source heating systems

  • Multi skilled engineer with recognised mechanical qualifications

  • Basic understanding of PLC control systems (advantageous)

  • An understanding of heating systems and associated pumps/ valves/ safety requirements

  • Mechanical fault finding and repair

  • Good customer skills and communication

  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team

  • Salary £40,000 – £45,000
