We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our team in Minehead. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop the skills of our team in one of our fantastic food venues. A Butlin’s resort is the home of getting stuck in and no trip to the seaside would be complete without great food.
We are looking for individuals with experience in a similar level role. You will need to be hard‑working and determined, a reliable person who likes to get things done and who will look for better ways for the team to consistently deliver our brand standards. Making our guests smile is at the heart of our values, and you will ensure this happens consistently by keeping guests at the central focus of all operational decisions. This includes resource planning, recruitment and selection, and ensuring that we have the very best team in place to deliver an amazing service.
You will be passionate about exceptional experience and will monitor this regularly to develop action plans in your venue with a focus on continuous improvement. Financial performance will play an important part in your role, and you will deliver food‑cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification. You will also support the accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety, in line with legislation and company policies.
We are looking for candidates who are energetic and enthusiastic, high‑spirited and fun‑loving and who will understand their role and the value they can add to the guest experience by unleashing the potential of the team. You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to continually deliver high standards in a fast‑paced and busy kitchen environment.
We think our Restaurants Team is something special and we know our guests love to keep returning to our restaurants as part of their holiday experience. The cherry on top for the successful candidate is being fun, keen to join in, working as part of a team, and being interested in ensuring our guests have a great time, every time.
At Butlin’s, we’re all about fun, excitement, and adventure! For over 80 years we’ve been delighting hundreds of thousands of guests each year. If you want a role where you create smiles, where you aren’t afraid to get stuck in, and where the team genuinely cares for each other – this could be the perfect fit for you.
