We're looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Restaurants Department based in Minehead. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 15. Your role will focus on ensuring guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions by delivering exceptional experience, financial performance, and maintaining food hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the running of the kitchen and lead a team of up to 15.
  • Plan resources, recruit, select and train staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop action plans based on guest experience monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to standards.
  • Accountable for food hygiene standards and health and safety compliance.
  • Run training schedules and performance development plans for the team.
  • Manage margins and control costs, ensuring all health, safety and hygiene related matters are addressed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar level role or a strong desire to step up in kitchen management.
  • Hard‑working, determined, reliable and proactive in improving team performance.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, high‑spirited and fun‑loving, with the ability to inspire the team.
