Fabrication Designer
CCE London are a Commercial Catering Equipment & Bars Company, working to create high-end bespoke commercial kitchens. We are looking to expand our team with a Fabrication Designer.
Responsibilities
- Produce scaled plans, sections, elevations, schematics, and detail drawings from external and internal sources.
- Create fabrication designs for factory to produce bespoke manufactured items.
- Scan and copy drawings for distribution to designers, clients, and contractors.
- Occasional site visits to take site dimensions and gain experience.
- Apply knowledge of general architecture building layouts.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to the position (design meetings, chasing suppliers, etc).
Required Skills
- Experience using SolidWorks and Radan; strong CAD design skills.
- Strong communication with customers, architects, designers, M&E companies and internal team.
- Ability to mentor and collaborate with Senior Designer, Factory Foreman, and Chargehand.
- Detail-oriented and capable of troubleshooting Inventor features according to project definition.
