CCE London are a Commercial Catering Equipment & Bars Company, working to create high-end bespoke commercial kitchens. With a wealthy amount of knowledge, we are looking to expand our team with a Fabrication Designer.
They will work closely with the salesmen, with mentoring support from the Senior Designer to produce high quality kitchen and restaurant design drawings and visualisations with the mentoring from the Factory Foreman and Chargehand once an order is secured.
The Designer for fabrication will produce details drawings required for the correct manufacturing of the bespoke items.
The Designer is required to liaise with customers, architects, designers, M&E companies as well as all others within the company to provide an effective design and technical service.
Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot Inventor features according to project definition.
Will need experience using Solid Works and Radan, as well as CAD Design to offer additional support on our projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Produce scaled plans, sections, elevations, schematics, and detail drawings from external and internal sources.
· Produce fabrication designs for factory to create bespoke manufactured items.
· Produce 3D visualisations.
· Scanning and copying drawings for distribution to designers, clients, and contractors.
· Occasional site visits to take site dimensions and gain experience.
· Knowledge of general architecture building layouts.
· To carry out any other duties which are appropriate to the position (i.e. design meetings, chasing suppliers, etc).
