The Designer will work closely with the salesmen, with mentoring support from the Senior Designer to produce high quality kitchen and restaurant design drawings and visualisations, followed up with accurate technical services drawings once an order is secured.
The Designer for fabrication will produce details drawings required for the correct manufacturing of the bespoke items.
The Designer is required to liaise with manufactures, customers, architects, designers, M&E companies as well as all others within the companyto provide an effective design and technical service.
Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot Inventor features according to project definition.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·Discussing brief with Salesmen/project leader to create CAD drawings.
·Produce scaled plans, sections, elevations, schematics, and detail drawings from external and internal sources.
·Produce 2D design plans from rough working drawings, with minimum input from others.
·Create project files including relevant information for the team.
·Scanning and copying drawings for distribution to designers, clients, and contractors.
·To notify and discuss with the relevant team individual errors, discrepancies in information and drawings during the process of production of quotations.
·Occasional site visits to take site dimensions and gain experience.
·Knowledge of general architecture building layouts.
·To carry out any other duties which are appropriate to the position (i.e. design meetings, chasing suppliers, etc).
