The Role
As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's strategic growth by delivering accurate, insightful, and timely financial information. You will oversee all the day-to-day financial operations, support budget preparation, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient financial management. Your ability to provide clear financial analysis, coupled with your commercial awareness, will directly influence business decision-making and contribute to expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, cashflow statements, and financial reports.
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic growth.
- Credit control, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll functions.
- Manage aged debt, ensuring prompt collections and effective cashflow management.
- Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.
- Oversee employee benefits administration and payroll accuracy.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
About You
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Management Accountant role.
- Strong track record in management accounts, budget preparation, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Xero (essential).
- Confident communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to deadlines.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in preparing Financial Reports at Board Level.
