Overview

ACC Care Group is seeking caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, independent lives.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting daily living skills
  • Promoting independence and choice
  • Supporting community access and activities
  • Assisting with communication methods and routines
  • Following Positive Behaviour Support strategies where required
  • Recording accurate care documentation
  • Working closely with families and professionals

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undertake specialist training
  • Flexible to work shifts, evenings and weekends
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism (preferred)
  • Patient and understanding
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and encouraging attitude
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Committed to person-centred care
