You'll provide person-centred support to individuals living with mental health conditions, helping them maintain independence, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes within their community. This role involves lone working, community-based support, and promoting wellbeing while ensuring people feel safe, respected, and empowered.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting individuals with daily living and community access
  • Providing emotional support and promoting independence
  • Supporting people during periods of anxiety or crisis using de-escalation techniques
  • Encouraging participation in social and community activities
  • Recording accurate care notes and reporting concerns
  • Following care plans and risk assessments
  • Working professionally with families and healthcare professionals

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Experience in mental health, community care or support work (preferred)
  • Calm and confident approach in challenging situations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassionate and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good written documentation skills

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
