We are looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team and provide specialist care to individuals with complex needs. This role involves supporting clients with a range of conditions which may include neurological disorders, spinal injuries, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or other complex health conditions. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support by promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual support plans
  • Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
  • Support with medication administration (where trained)
  • Assist with mobility and safe moving & handling procedures
  • Support clients with daily living tasks including meal preparation and household tasks
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Monitor and record health conditions and report any concerns
  • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider care team
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care or supporting individuals with complex needs is desirable
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine passion for care
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake specialist training where required
  • Right to work in the UK
