Are you an experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your management career?

We are seeking a motivated, organised and passionate Deputy Branch Manager to join our growing domiciliary and live-in care service. Working closely alongside our existing Registered Manager and two Quality Officers, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring outstanding care delivery, regulatory compliance and staff development.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager, Care Manager or Senior Care Coordinator who is ready to make a real difference while supporting the continued growth and success of our service.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the branch.
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, Health & Social Care legislation and company policies.
  • Increase business growth
  • Conducting staff supervisions, spot checks, competency assessments and appraisals.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and retention of care staff.
  • Assisting with care assessments, care planning and client reviews.
  • Monitoring quality standards and supporting audit processes.
  • Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints appropriately.
  • Building positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals and commissioners.
  • Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
  • Deputising for the Registered Manager during periods of absence.

What We're Looking For

Essential

✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

✔ Minimum 2 years' management or supervisory experience within domiciliary care

✔ Strong understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards and regulatory requirements

✔ Experience of conducting supervisions, spot checks and staff development

✔ Knowledge of safeguarding, medication management, risk assessments and care planning

✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills

✔ Full UK Driving Licence

✔ Access to your own vehicle

✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

✔ Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota

Desirable

  • Experience supporting a Good or Outstanding CQC-rated service
  • Experience within Live-In Care services
  • Previous Deputy Manager experience
  • Knowledge of rostering and care management systems
