Join an Outstanding Care Provider. Caroline Cares For You is seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead our Outstanding-rated domiciliary care service on a 3-month fixed-term contract. You will be supporting our Registered Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic care leader to oversee a well-established branch delivering approximately 500 hours of care per week, including both visiting care and live-in care services. You will play a key role in maintaining our exceptional standards, supporting our dedicated care team, and ensuring outstanding outcomes for the people we support.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the branch, ensuring compliance, quality, growth, and staff engagement. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to maintain our Outstanding reputation and continue delivering person-centred care of the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and management of the branch team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, legislation, and CQC requirements.
- Maintain and further develop high-quality care services across visiting care and live-in care.
- Monitor care delivery, quality assurance, audits, and service improvements.
- Manage branch performance, occupancy, and care hours.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of care staff.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local stakeholders.
- Ensure safe staffing levels and effective rota management.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns in line with company policies.
- Produce management reports and contribute to strategic planning.
About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced care manager who can quickly integrate into an established service and provide strong leadership throughout the contract period.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Registered Manager, or Senior Care Manager within domiciliary care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and fundamental standards.
- Proven experience managing visiting care services and/or live-in care services.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience managing care teams, rotas, and service delivery.
- Ability to maintain compliance while delivering excellent customer outcomes.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
- Experience managing services rated Good or Outstanding by CQC.
- Knowledge of local authority and private care contracts.
- Experience overseeing services delivering 500+ care hours per week.
