Are you looking for a rewarding Support worker role within a supportive team? We are hiring Rehabilitation Support Workers. Both full‑time and part‑time positions are available, including sleep shifts, with additional hours for annual leave cover available.

You will be required to work with our friendly male client who has an acquired brain injury. Our client enjoys local activities and attending Headway. This post would suit someone who has knowledge of the area and enjoys finding new activities that may interest the client. You will support our client with his mobility, accessing the community, and social activities. You will work in our client’s own home and out in the community, including trying your luck at Bingo, attending Warm Hub and catching up with his family. You will support the client’s rehabilitation goals, medication needs, some personal care and daily living activities. The salary for this role is £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties:

  • Supporting our client with prompts around personal care, social and leisure activities, administration of medication and following therapy programmes set by physiotherapists.

Key skills, knowledge and experience:

  • You should have previous experience of working in a support worker role.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience such as completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course).
