Overview

Support Workers based: Culgaith, Penrith. Full time and Part time. The salary for the role is £14 per hour. We are recruiting support workers to assist one of our clients with Acquired Brain Injury.

Role

You will be required to work with our 68 year old client with Acquired Brain Injury. He requires support to keep him focussed on daily living tasks. He previously enjoyed the outdoors and was very active. This post would suit an active lover of the outdoors. You will assist our client to access the community, engage in activities of interest to him and be an integral part of his rehabilitation. Someone who is passionate about rehabilitation and reaching goals would be ideal for this role.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in the Health Sector.
  • Driving licence and car owner is essential.
  • You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)
  • This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check

Compensation

The salary for this role is from £14.00ph depending on experience.
