Due to high demand for our case management and neurological occupational therapy services, we are aiming to expand our capacity in the North East of England. We are looking for an experienced Case Manager and Occupational Therapist who shares our commitment to person-centred rehabilitation to join our friendly, experienced team on an associate basis.

The ideal candidate should have a background in Case Management and Neurological Occupational Therapy and be able to demonstrate experience in the treatment and management of clients with acquired brain injury and/or other complex conditions, with a good understanding of the medico-legal process.

Job Outline

To provide an efficient and high-quality specialised case management and occupational therapy service, using a client-centred and goal-orientated approach, for adults and/or children with complex needs arising from acquired brain injury or complex neurological and physical conditions, in line with BABICM and IRCM standards, best practice guidelines and company policy.

Key skills, knowledge and experience
  • HCPC registration
  • BSc Honours degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, with neurological specialism
  • Experience as a practising Case Manager
  • Ability to work with adults and/or children with complex needs
  • Ability to undertake detailed clinical assessments and prepare thorough written reports
  • Compassion and understanding of the needs of clients, families and carers

This post is subject to a DBS Check. You will work in the community, travelling to visit clients and attend meetings. You will be home-based, and will visit our head office in Penrith and our nearby second site at Owl Barn on occasion, for meetings and training.
