Job Summary
We are seeking reliable Delivery Drivers Mate to join our small but expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a timely and safe manner as we deliver and collect furniture / white goods for a well-known high street chain .
The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 4/5 day rota. Weekend work will / can be involved.
There will be Multi-drop Delivery's and collections within the Southend and surrounding area, Supporting the driver with the heavier items, Most are a two-man lift .
Pay and Benefits
- £12.50
- We will provide steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
- Working hours would be 9 am until 4pm
Requirements
The right candidate will be:
- Reliable and organized
- Have good communication skills and a good level of customer service
- Be fit and healthy and able to lift heavy goods
- Good work ethic, reliable
- No criminal record, DBS check would be needed to be completed
- Perform heavy lifting when loading and unloading deliveries
Experience
- Ideally Will have worked within the delivery industry however No experience required, everyone welcome.
- Driving Licence desirable
