We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with Operating 50 ton metre + Hiab\’s, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a HGV Driver and Hiab Operator, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods while ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations and Heath and safety regulations whilst operating the Hiab. Its one Driver one vehicle and the vehicle is only 6 months old and a very high specification. We Deliver to a variety of prestige locations including events, stadiums with a wide range of loads to give you total job satisfaction

Duties
* Operate Hiab lorries to transport goods to various locations safely and efficiently.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
* Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Qualifications
* Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as a Hiab driver or in a similar role is preferred.
* Familiarity with Hiab lorry operations is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
* Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
