Introduction
We are looking for a motivated apprentice to join our thriving precision engineering firm. We manufacture components for many different industries within the UK, including Formula 1.
About the Employer
AC Precision Engineering Ltd. Is a small, predominantly family‑run manufacturer located near the centre of Faringdon. The company was founded in 2003. We have a large customer base which includes most of the UK‑based Formula 1 teams.
What You'll Do
As our apprentice, you will receive full training in turning, milling and wire eroding, learn how to read engineering drawings and to inspect the components that you have machined. As you progress, we will teach you how to programme our machines. You will need to be able to absorb information and follow verbal instructions.
Training Outcome
CNC Machinist (either Turner, 3 Axis or 5 Axis Machinist)

- Essential - GCSE - English - 4 or equivalent
- Essential - GCSE - Mathematics - 4 or equivalent
