We are looking for reliable and hardworking Packhouse Operatives to join our team and support our busy packing operations. As a Packhouse Operative, you will play an important role in ensuring our fruit is packed, checked, and prepared to the highest standards before being dispatched to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and grading apples and other produce to quality standards.
- Packing fruit into trays, punnets, and cartons.
- Conducting visual quality checks and reporting any issues.
- Labelling and preparing products for distribution.
- Handling and moving bushel boxes, crates, and other produce containers as required.
- Lifting, lowering, and carrying items weighing up to 18kg.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Supporting other packhouse activities as required.
