We are looking for a reliable and organised Dispatch Operative to join our team and play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched on time.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for:
- Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
- Operating manual and/or electric pallet trucks to move stock throughout the warehouse and dispatch areas.
- Ensuring orders are accurately checked against dispatch documentation.
- Wrapping, labelling, and securing pallets ready for transport.
- Assisting with stock movements and storage.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Following all health and safety, food safety, and company procedures.
- Supporting other warehouse and operational activities as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, logistics, or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Experience using pallet trucks is advantageous.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Flexible approach to work and working hours when required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
- 45 hours per week across 5 days.
- Core working hours 07.30-17.30 with flexibility required between 07.00 and 24.00.
- Starting rate of £13.50 per hour. Overtime at time and a quarter after 45 hours.
