We are looking for a reliable and organised Dispatch Operative to join our team and play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched on time. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for preparing shipments, moving stock using pallet trucks, and supporting the efficient operation of our dispatch department.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
- Operating manual and/or electric pallet trucks to move stock throughout the warehouse and dispatch areas.
- Ensuring orders are accurately checked against dispatch documentation.
- Wrapping, labelling, and securing pallets ready for transport.
- Assisting with stock movements and storage.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Following all health and safety, food safety, and company procedures.
- Supporting other warehouse and operational activities as required.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
