We’re partnering with an organisation that’s looking for a Junior PMO Analyst to support projects and programmes across the business. This role is a great fit for someone early in their career who wants to learn how projects are planned, governed, and delivered in a real operational environment.

You’ll work closely with the PMO team, supporting Project and Programme Managers with reporting, scheduling, financial tracking, and general governance activities. Over time, you’ll build confidence and develop strong PMO skills through hands‑on experience, clear processes, and guidance from experienced colleagues.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Keeping project and programme documentation up to date (plans, RAID logs, status reports)
  • Managing and maintaining project plans, including scheduling, resourcing, and overall programme coordination
  • Supporting forecasting activities, including forecast vs. actuals analysis
  • Assisting with financial tasks such as revenue tracking, CCI, profitability, solution contingency, and basic budgeting
  • Handling T&M invoicing and associated administrative processes
  • Updating PMO dashboards and producing regular governance reports
  • Preparing materials for governance meetings, including presentations and reporting packs (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Helping maintain accurate data across project tools and spreadsheets
  • Supporting governance through data analysis, reporting, and adherence to PMO frameworks
  • Developing foundational knowledge across Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
  • Ensuring PMO standards, templates, and ways of working are consistently followed
  • Building an understanding of how projects are prioritised, governed, and delivered at portfolio level

You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, grow your confidence, and gradually take on more responsibility.

Essential Requirements

  • An interest in projects, change delivery, or PMO work
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and reports
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback, and follow structured processes
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance

  • Any experience supporting projects, even outside a formal PMO role
  • Familiarity with project artefacts like RAID logs, plans, or status reports
