You'll work alongside experienced support professionals, gaining hands‑on experience investigating issues, supporting users, managing incidents and contributing to continuous service improvement.

While training will be provided, we're looking for someone who already has a foundation in technology and is keen to build a long‑term career in IT and application support.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting problem and change management activities
  • Working with users to understand issues and identify solutions
  • Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders
  • Supporting weekly and monthly service reporting

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of tasks

You'll have some previous exposure to technology through one or more of the following:

  • Technology bootcamp or academy programme
  • Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related degree
  • Service Desk, Technical Support or Application Support experience
  • Placement year or internship within a technology environment
  • Personal technology projects demonstrating technical curiosity

Desirable Technical Skills

Experience in all of these areas is not expected, but exposure to some of the following would be beneficial:

  • Microsoft Excel, including filtering, sorting and basic formulas
  • SQL and database concepts
  • Power BI
  • Incident or service management processes
  • Data analysis and troubleshooting techniques

Training & Development

You'll receive structured onboarding, mentoring and hands‑on training from experienced team members.

This includes:

  • Incident, problem and change management processes
  • Technical and business process training
  • Shadowing and mentoring opportunities
  • Ongoing development and career progression support

Ideal Candidate

This role would suit someone who has already taken their first steps into technology and wants to accelerate their career.

You might be a recent graduate, bootcamp graduate, IT apprentice, junior support analyst, service desk analyst or someone with equivalent hands‑on technical experience.

Most importantly, you'll have strong problem‑solving skills, a genuine interest in technology, and the motivation to continue learning and developing.
