Frontend Developer – Manchester / Leeds / Sheffield / Newcastle (Hybrid)
We are looking for a Frontend Developer with strong experience building and testing modern, accessible web applications.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive frontend web applications.
- Develop reusable frontend components and templates using technologies such as Nunjucks / Mustache.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code following TDD and unit-testing practices.
- Develop and test services to ensure they meet web accessibility requirements.
- Work with GDS components and styling where applicable.
- Support automated build, test and deployment processes using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or GitHub.
- Work with containerised applications using Docker.
- Collaborate with developers, testers and wider delivery teams in Scrum / Kanban environments.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement.
- Experience with GDS (Government Digital Service) components and styling
- Strong Playwright with TypeScript experience
