What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain applications using Java as your core language.
  • Work on backend services and integrate with SQL databases.
  • Learn and apply best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance from senior team members.

Tech Stack You’ll Be Using:

  • Languages: Java (primary), SQL, Python
  • Frameworks & Tools: Spring Boot, REST APIs
  • Cloud: AWS
  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL

What We’re Looking For:

  • Coding Bootcamp graduates with hands-on experience in modern technologies OR STEM graduates from disciplines such as Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or related fields, who are eager to apply analytical thinking to software development.
  • Some experience with Java development (academic, commercial, or personal projects).
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Exposure to Python for scripting or automation tasks.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn AWS cloud services.
  • Ability to work onsite in Newcastle 5 days a week or relocate.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
