What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the elicitation and documentation of business requirements through workshops, interviews and analysis
  • Helping translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process maps and documentation
  • Assisting with data analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Working closely with delivery, technical and product teams to support solution design and implementation
  • Supporting testing, validation and change activities to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the BA community

Tools & Techniques You May Work With

  • Requirements & Analysis: User stories, process mapping, stakeholder analysis, acceptance criteria
  • Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall (varies by project)
  • Data & Reporting: Excel, basic SQL, Power BI or similar tools (exposure, not expertise)
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio or equivalent tools
  • Testing & Change: UAT support, test scenarios, business readiness activities

  • Graduates or early‑career professionals from disciplines such as Business, Technology, Economics, Data, or STEM, or career‑switchers with relevant training
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders and asking the right questions
  • An interest in understanding how businesses, systems and processes work together
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop as a Business Analyst
  • Willingness to work onsite as required — open to placement in Leeds or London
