You’ll work closely with teams in New York, London, and Belfast focused on Distressed Debt.

What you’ll work on

  • Extract and process distressed debt and bankruptcy filings from US courts, regulatory bodies, and financial databases, ensuring accurate and timely entry into 9fin's proprietary database.

  • Build and maintain structured records of debtor entities, creditor hierarchies, and case timelines across active bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Collaborate with the distressed content and technology teams to identify opportunities to improve data extraction workflows and tooling.
  • Support ad hoc data requests from journalists, analysts, and client-facing teams requiring deep dives into specific case files or issuer histories.
