We are expanding our IT & Information Security function to support 9fin’s continued global growth. As an IT & InfoSec Engineer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of IT and security across the business. You will work closely with the IT & InfoSec department to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across IT operations, security, and compliance. You will be expected to take ownership of tasks and continuously improve how we operate.
Responsibilities
- IT Operations – Provide day-to-day IT support across a global, distributed workforce
- IT Operations – Manage on-boarding and off-boarding (devices, access, permissions)
- IT Operations – Administer core systems including: JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion
- IT Operations – Support device management (95% Mac, 5% Windows)
- IT Operations – Troubleshoot issues across SaaS tools, endpoints, and identity systems
- IT Operations – Contribute to improving the IT service desk function
- Systems & Identity – Support identity and access management (SSO, SAML, user lifecycle via JumpCloud)
- Systems & Identity – Assist with endpoint security, patching, and device compliance
- Systems & Identity – Maintain and improve system integrations across core tools
- Systems & Identity – Identify opportunities to automate repeatable processes
- Information Security – Support implementation of security policies and controls
- Information Security – Assist with monitoring and maintaining 9fin's security posture
- Information Security – Assist vulnerability management and security awareness initiatives
- Compliance & Audit – Support SOC2 and ISO:42001 processes
- Compliance & Audit – Assist with audit preparation and evidence collection
- Continuous Improvement – Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing
- Continuous Improvement – Stay up to date with modern IT and security practices
About You
We are looking for someone early in their career who is highly motivated, curious, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- 1–3 years experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar
- Experience working in a SaaS-heavy environment
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts
- Exposure to JumpCloud or similar
- Google Workspace, Slack, modern SaaS tooling
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience with device provisioning and management
- Exposure to security frameworks (SOC2, ISO, Cyber Essentials) is a plus
- Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is beneficial

Additional Information
