Our client is a friendly, east London practice of around 13 people, that primarily focus on residential, commercial and masterplans. They are now looking for a full time, mature minded, energetic and proactive Technical Architect or Technician with at least 5 years of office experience on small, commercial projects. AutoCAD is essential and Revit is a bonus, and candidates available at short notice will take precedence.

We need you to:
- prepare, develop and edit, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design;
- havea working knowledge of building services and structures;
- coordinate with and review information from consultants and contractors;
- have a robust knowledge of building regulations and procurement;
- have a robust understanding of contractual matters;
- assist a senior architect with monitoring works on site to ensure compliance with the design and assist contractors with detailing.
Candidates should:
- Demonstrate design and technical confidence and aptitude.
- Be self-driven and motivated;
- Have a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and the ability to handle multiple roles and responsibilities within a busy office;
- Have a strong 2D and 3D drawing skills;
- Be well organised with good time management;
- Have worked on projects through all RIBA work stages;
- Have a minimum of 4 years office experience post qualification;
- Have an excellent level of spoken and written English (IELTS 7-8, TOEFL iBT 94-109, TOEIC 901+ or CAMBRIDGE CPE).
