Our client is a small, creative and design‑oriented practice based in Shoreditch, with a growing portfolio of projects throughout London. They are looking for an ambitious, experienced Architect (or very experienced Part 2) who wants to join a growing practice to work on an exciting variety of projects from new build houses to medium‑scale residential developments. The practice has several projects at planning and construction stages, therefore the successful candidate will gain quick exposure to planning & technical design. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a broad experience from feasibility through to completion. You will have a key role within the office and the opportunity to grow your career. This studio aims to be an inclusive and rewarding place to work, with a friendly environment, company benefits and many social activities.

They are looking for:

  • Someone with the confidence and experience to run their own projects, whilst contributing to and supporting/mentoring other team members.
  • Solid technical understanding of buildings and construction details, planning policies, and building regulations.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a flair for design and good presentation skills.
  • An aptitude for design within a tight urban context and the ability to communicate ideas through sketches, 3D visualisations and presentation drawings.
  • Ability to take on responsibility, multi‑task, prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign and Revit will also be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods.
  • Self‑motivated, committed and driven.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

This practice offers working from home on Fridays. No sponsorship will be offered.
