9B is working with a growing design‑led architectural practice to appoint a Project Architect or Architectural Technologist to join its London studio. The practice specialises in the design and delivery of high‑end residential projects in London and internationally, including bespoke new‑build homes, significant refurbishments, extensions, and multi‑unit residential developments. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and expanding studio, offering the chance to work across all RIBA stages and play a key role in delivering beautifully detailed residential projects.

The Role

  • Lead the design and delivery of residential projects from concept through to completion
  • Manage project programmes, resources, and consultant coordination
  • Prepare and submit planning applications
  • Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
  • Maintain high standards of design quality and technical delivery throughout projects

About You

  • ARB‑registered Architect or experienced Architectural Technologist
  • Minimum 5 years' UK post‑qualification experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across multiple RIBA stages
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working with traditional JCT contracts
  • Strong technical and project‑running capabilities
  • Excellent understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations
  • Confident in client‑facing and contractor‑facing environments
  • Previous experience within the prime or high‑end residential sector preferred
