Whether you’re a recently qualified Part 3 architect or an experienced Part 2 looking to take the next step, this role offers hands-on experience, mentoring support, and exposure to high-quality projects in the education and commercial sectors.
About the Studio
The Oxford office is the newest and smallest of three UK studios within a respected, employee-owned AJ100 practice. The team is currently around 10 people strong, with plans to grow over the coming year. Projects focus on higher education, independent schools, laboratories, and commercial developments, including work for major universities. The team operates in a supportive, open environment, where shared success and professional development are core values.
The Role
As an Architect or experienced Part 2, you’ll:
- Contribute to projects at various stages, from concept design through to technical delivery.
- Work closely with project architects and associate directors to develop your skills and take on more responsibility over time.
- Assist with drawings, modelling, technical packages, and coordination—especially in Revit or similar BIM software.
- Have opportunities to work on live projects, attend site visits, and engage directly with clients and consultants.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a recently qualified Part 3 architect.
- Has experience with Revit or a willingness to learn it quickly (training and support are provided).
- Has a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
- Ideally has some exposure to sectors like higher education or commercial design—but this isn’t essential.
- Can work in the Oxford studio at least 3–4 days per week.
