Associate to join its London team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative and experienced interior designer to take a senior role within a multidisciplinary studio, working on large-scale international retail projects for some of the world's most innovative and ambitious retail operators.
The studio works across luxury retail, department stores, destination retail, experiential environments, hospitality, architecture and product design, offering the opportunity to work on projects of exceptional scale and design ambition.
The Role
As an Associate, you will play a key role in leading design teams and delivering complex international retail interiors from concept through to completion.
You'll combine strong creative vision with technical knowledge, commercial awareness and excellent client management skills.
Key responsibilities will include
- Providing creative and design leadership across major retail projects.
- Leading multidisciplinary project teams and overseeing design delivery.
- Developing innovative retail concepts and customer experiences.
- Managing design production, programmes, resources and team workloads.
- Acting as a key client-facing representative throughout the project.
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, lighting designers, quantity surveyors and other consultants.
- Reviewing and maintaining the quality of design work produced by the team.
- Providing technical guidance and resolving design and detailing issues. Developing presentations, design workshops and client reviews.
- Supporting project planning, budgets, fees and resource management.
- Mentoring and developing junior designers.
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and manufacturers.
- Supporting senior leadership with project strategy and reporting.
About You
We're looking for an experienced designer who combines creative excellence with strong technical and project leadership skills .
You'll ideally have
- Significant experience in luxury retail interior design .
- A strong understanding of retail planning and customer experience.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex international projects.
- Excellent space-planning skills across different retail formats.
- Strong knowledge of interior detailing, materials, finishes, fixtures and furniture.
- A good understanding of retail fit-out, fabrication and construction.
- Experience managing project programmes, resources and workloads.
- Strong presentation, communication and client relationship skills.
- Commercial awareness, including understanding of project budgets and fees.
- The ability to mentor, inspire and develop junior team members.
- An exceptional eye for detail and a strong design sensibility.
Mandarin language skills would be advantageous.
