9B is working with a leading AJ100 architecture and heritage consultancy to appoint an Associate Architect to join their London team. This is a rare opportunity to work on projects of national significance within the UK’s historic built environment, combining project leadership, team management, and business development within a highly regarded practice.
The Role
- Lead projects across all RIBA stages, from concept through to delivery
- Work on high-profile heritage and listed building schemes
- Manage and mentor project teams
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Contribute to business development, bidding, and work-winning
- Support studio leadership and strategic growth
About You
- Qualified Architect with 10+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong background in heritage and conservation projects
- Experience across all RIBA stages
- Good understanding of UK planning and building regulations
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Experience in team leadership and project management
- Commercial awareness and involvement in business development
- Accreditation (AABC / RIBA CA / SCA) desirable
- Experience with NEC contracts advantageous
- Revit/BIM knowledge beneficial
