We’re seeking someone to join our Experienced Hire team as a Recruitment Business Partner (RBP). This role will be aligned to our Company and Operations divisions based in Glasgow, and be responsible for the delivery of experienced hire recruiting across the UK and Continental Europe. In the Human Resources division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools they need to succeed.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and partner with Operations and Corporate Functions Business Leaders, COO’s, and HR Business Partners in relation to growth forecasting and demand planning, attrition reviews, and translate business requirements into fit for purpose recruitment strategies in line with their talent needs, business growth agenda.
  • Support the EMEA Operations and Company Experienced Hire Lead in managing the RPO vendor relationship to ensure high quality service delivery against SLAs.
  • Provide strategic direction to RPO Vendor Recruitment Managers, ensuring the service is set up to meet business needs through the prioritization of activity, working together to build impactful solutions to key priorities and challenges.
  • Build an expert level understanding of the hiring practices and complexities within your lines of business, establishing value add partnerships across HR functions, leading issue resolution and driving process improvements.
  • Leverage internal HR reporting tools, market insights and competitive intelligence, alongside RPO vendor performance data to drive transparency, build and present regular dashboards and data driven insights to the business and inform hiring tactics and decisions.
  • Drive diverse and inclusive hiring practices, implementing business unit recruiting initiatives to build a strong pipeline of high calibre diverse talent.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact and escalation for the Glasgow Experienced Hire team.
  • Lead continuous improvement tactics in partnership with the other RBPs and our EMEA Operations & Strategy lead to enhance the hiring manager and candidate experience.
  • Represent the firm at local events and partner with the Recruitment Marketing function to enhance the employer brand and attract the right talent.
  • Represent Experienced Hire in local management forums and committees.
  • Act as the bridge between recruitment operations, recruitment marketing, sourcing, recruiting and onboarding to ensure a seamless delivery of Company & Operations hiring.

  • Deep understanding of recruitment in a financial services, corporate or blue-chip environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire high performing teams, flexing between operational and strategic leadership as needed.
  • Client focused, with the ability to forge solid relationships at all levels of the organization and collaborate across businesses and borders.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Ability to appropriately influence senior decision-makers and is resilient when challenged.
  • Strong IT, Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to draw insights from metrics and apply them to strategy.
