The Role
We’re looking for a commercially driven Senior Business Development professional to help play a key role in shaping and accelerating the next phase of growth at 93FT. This is a strategic and relationship-led role with significant autonomy. You will take ownership of developing new business opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and positioning 93FT within key sectors, particularly across Digital, with some involvement in Brand. You’ll be responsible not just for generating opportunities, but for building a sustainable pipeline, influencing strategy and contributing to the evolution of our business development function. You will be focused on building meaningful connections, identifying new opportunities, and helping clients understand the full value of what we can deliver. This role suits someone who is commercially minded, confident, and passionate about creative industries. You’ll be working alongside existing Business Development roles within the studio to help shape a business development department within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver against revenue and activity targets
- Proactively identify, develop and convert new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline across target sectors
- Lead client conversations from initial contact through to delivery of written proposals and supporting documentation i.e. SLA’s, Terms, payment schedules
- Clearly articulate the commercial and creative value of our services
Relationship & Network Development
- Build long-term, high value relationships with clients, partners and industry contacts
- Maintain new and existing client relationships
- Represent 93FT at events, networking opportunities and industry forums
- Act as a visible ambassador for the business
Strategic Contributions
- Help shape business development strategy, focus sectors and outreach approaches
- Work closely with leadership and creative teams to align opportunities with capability
- Provide insight on market trends, opportunities and competitor activity
Marketing & Brand Support
- Support and contribute to outbound marketing initiatives
- Actively promote the business via professional channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Contribute to positioning thought leadership and brand visibility
Budget Ownership
- Plan and deliver ROI-Driven activity reporting on spend and outcomes
Ways of Working
- 37.5 hours per week, flexible between 8am - 6pm
- Hybrid approach with a minimum of 2 - 3 days in the studio a week allowing for time to be out of the studio pursuing new business opportunities i.e. events / meetings
- Regular UK travel required (occasional international travel possible - therefore passport required)
- Out of hours work (events, client arrangements)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a business development or growth-focused role, ideally within a creative agency or similar environment
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of generating revenue
- Confident relationship builder with excellent communication skills
- Experience developing and managing pipelines and opportunities
- Self-starter with the ability to operate autonomously
- Comfortable working across both strategic and hands-on activity
- Existing network within relevant sectors (for example: property, workplace, hospitality, sports, cultural and heritage)
- Experience across digital and/or brand-led projects
- Experience contributing to marketing or thought leadership initiatives
- Confidence in speaking at events or hosting client engagements
