The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products, Securitized Products, and Municipal Securities.
Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.
The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professionals’ trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.

What will you be doing?
- Responsible for trading and managing the risk for the EMFX Trading book (ZAR Focus).
- Actively monitoring the markets for opportunities in EMFX markets (primarily EMEA).
- Generating trade ideas and market comments to increase the business footprint.
- Managing daily profit and loss reporting and utilizing quantitative knowledge for relative value analysis and valuation.
- Understanding a wide variety of market instruments and pricing complex risk.
What we’re looking for
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- MSc or Ph D in mathematics, physics, or a similar quantitative subject.
- Extensive know-how of the EM market dynamics, in EMEA/ZAR ideally.
- Experience in frontier markets.
- Deep understanding of Macro HF, Macro RM, Cross asset funds and corporate client base.
- Strong technical communication skills & ability to work independently.
- You will have an entrepreneurial mindset and possess practical problem-solving skills with a great attention to detail.
- You can analyze and interpret complex information quickly and accurately.
- Familiarity with market making tools.
- Experience using Bloomberg and advanced Excel.
