About the Company— An established UK real estate development finance provider and equity investor is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their high-performing team in Mayfair. This firm is a leader in real estate development funding, with £1.5–£2 billion in live developments at any given time. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, dynamic team and contribute to the growth of a business at the forefront of real estate finance.
About the Role— This role is focused on complex financial modelling and cash flow management, which is critical for the smooth delivery of the firm's projects. The successful candidate will be pivotal in managing a master cash flow across multiple projects and funds, ensuring optimal liquidity and informing strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Cashflow Management: Develop and manage consolidated master cashflows to track liquidity at project and fund levels. Forecast cash inflows and outflows, including developer repayments, loan origination fees, and construction costs. Track leverage facilities and ensure compliance with lender covenants and internal risk thresholds.
- Transaction Processing: Prepare and execute loan drawdowns, repayments, capital calls, and distributions. Collaborate closely with underwriting, legal, and asset management teams to ensure seamless transaction workflows.
- Cash Management & Financial Controls: Manage daily cash balances to ensure sufficient liquidity for operating expenses and project funding. Prepare detailed cashflow reports to support liquidity planning and budgeting. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including AML compliance.
- Accounts Payable and Administration: Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and staff expense reimbursements. Perform KYC checks and manage onboarding processes for new clients.
- NAV, Audit & Reporting: Review and validate NAV statements. Assist with audit queries and support investor reporting.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with experience at a Top 10 accountancy firm.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, preferably within real estate, project finance, or development.
- Strong academic background in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Highly efficient, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and see tasks through to completion.
Pay range and compensation package - Circa £60,000 - £70,000 with a competitive package, including a bonus.
