93 MGMT is working with an established alternative credit manager to hire a Senior Associate into its European CLO Operations team in London.
The platform is expanding, new deals are closing, and the operations function is growing alongside it. The role offers significant exposure to portfolio management and a clear route to Manager for the right person.
What you’ll do
- Monitor daily traded cash projections across the European CLO book
- Produce hypothetical trade results for portfolio managers
- Prepare weekly portfolio status reports covering compliance tests, funding requirements and trading opportunities
- Review waterfall calculations and oversee external middle-office reporting
- Work directly with administrators and middle-office providers to resolve issues and escalations
- Read and interpret indentures, amendments and restructuring documentation
- Work closely with portfolio management, client relations and finance
- Contribute to projects bringing elements of compliance and control in-house
- Support continued development of systems, analytics and AI-enabled tooling
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on CLO operations experience gained at a CLO manager, trustee or CLO administrator
- Typically 3–7 years’ relevant experience, although more experienced trustee and administrator candidates are welcome
- Strong understanding of CLO compliance tests, including OC and IC calculations
- Comfortable reading an indenture and determining what the documentation permits
- Strong Excel skills; VBA, add-ins or broader automation experience would be advantageous
- Confidence working directly with portfolio managers and challenging where required
Helpful, not essential
- CLO equity fund exposure
- US CLO knowledge
- Experience with Allvue, WSO, Solvas, Sentry or a comparable loan management platform
- Interest in AI and workflow automation
