We are working with a leading European real estate investment manager seeking to hire a Real Estate Debt Asset Management Analyst to join their London-based team. This position is suited to someone who already has 1–3 years’ experience in real estate debt, CRE lending, or loan asset management. This is not a graduate or entry-level role.
You will support the active management of a diversified real estate loan portfolio across the UK and Europe, including:
- Ongoing loan monitoring and performance analysis
- Covenant compliance (LTV, DSCR, ICR, LTC)
- Oversight of development and construction finance (drawdowns, QS/valuer coordination, capex tracking)
- Borrower interaction, collecting reporting and monitoring deliverables
- Reviewing valuation, business plans, financials and project updates
- Preparing internal portfolio summaries, asset dashboards and risk updates
- Supporting consent processes (waivers, extensions, amendments)
This position offers excellent exposure to both senior and mezzanine lending strategies.
Required Background (Please Read Before Applying)
Candidates must have direct experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Real estate debt funds or private credit platforms (loan monitoring, covenants, development oversight)
- CRE lending teams within banks
- Loan servicing or special servicing
- Alternative real estate lenders or development finance teams

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate debt, CRE lending, loan servicing, or development finance
- Strong understanding of covenants, loan structures, financial statements and reporting
- Ability to analyse valuations, tenancy schedules, project budgets and capex drawdowns
- Comfortable liaising with borrowers, valuers, QSs, lawyers and internal stakeholders
- Strong Excel and analytical skills (cashflow modelling, sensitivities, LTV/DSCR analysis)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
