You will sit at the centre of the platform—partnering with Investments, structuring/financing stakeholders, and senior management—ensuring institutional standards across governance, reporting, oversight, and stakeholder delivery. This mandate will suit an experienced fund finance leader who can step in quickly, apply judgement, and provide calm, decisive oversight in a fast-moving environment.

The Role

As Interim Head of Fund Finance, you will take ownership of the fund finance agenda across a range of private market vehicles, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and scalability of the operating model. Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership, Governance & Control
    • Lead fund finance delivery across reporting cycles with strong governance and control standards
    • Act as senior escalation point for complex accounting, structure, and policy matters
    • Ensure oversight of NAV, valuation governance, audit coordination, and financial reporting quality
    • Maintain strong risk management, documentation, and decision trails across key processes
  • Stakeholder Partnership
    • Serve as the senior fund finance interface to the wider business and leadership
    • Provide decision-ready insight and clear communication to senior stakeholders
    • Coordinate effectively across internal teams and external service providers to deliver outcomes
  • Investor & External Delivery
    • Support investor-facing requirements and complex stakeholder queries with high-quality responses
    • Contribute to investor materials and due diligence processes where required
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy of external outputs and messaging
  • Operational Improvement & Projects
    • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls, efficiency, and scalability
    • Drive automation and reporting enhancements, improving data integrity and management information
    • Provide ad-hoc analysis and project leadership aligned to platform priorities

Qualifications

  • Senior fund finance leadership experience within private markets (private credit and/or private equity)
  • Strong technical grounding across fund reporting, governance, valuation oversight, and audit processes
  • Comfortable operating within outsourced and multi-provider operating models
  • Credible communicator with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders

Highly Desirable

  • UK and Luxembourg multi-jurisdictional exposure
  • Experience supporting financing/leverage-related interfaces and fund structuring considerations
