We are working with a specialist real estate investment and development business looking to appoint an Interim Finance Director.
This is a senior, hands on finance role with real ownership from day one.
You will take responsibility for the finance function, manage a team of three and work closely with senior management across the business.
The role
- Financial control and management accounting
- Lender and debt provider relationships
- Governance across management companies and property structures
- Oversight of outsourced AP, payroll and SPV administration
- Improving reporting and reducing reliance on Excel
- Managing and developing the finance team
The person
- We are looking for someone with experience across real estate asset management, investment management or real estate debt.
- Broader investment management backgrounds will also be considered.
- You will need strong financial control and reporting experience, be comfortable operating at a detailed level and be able to get into the numbers rather than simply review the output.
- Jersey, Luxembourg and Ireland entity experience is not required.
- This is not a strategy focused CFO position.
- It is a hands on Finance Director role for someone who can take ownership quickly, strengthen the finance function and improve the quality of reporting and control.
